Weddle and Son, Blacksmiths

Business news from the Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), February 25, 1915, page 4:

Togged Up Shop.

The J. W. Weddle & Son blacksmith shop has undergone a thorough cleansing and rearranging this winter and is indeed about the best arranged blacksmith shop that the writer has ever had the opportunity of witnessing in a town three times the size of Skidmore.

Much new machinery has been added and more coming. J. W. says that they are going to fumigate the ship every few days so there will positively be no danger of contagious disease being spread. J. W. and son are to be complimented upon the improvements as it shows their appreciation toward their many customers.
