Surprise Party.
On Tuesday afternoon Miss Norma Charles gave a surprise shower for Dorothy Glenn, who left Sunday for her new home in Maryville.

The party was given from four to six, so Dorothy’s teacher detained her after school for a short time, giving the little friends and schoolmates an opportunity to gather at the Charles home, after which Dorothy was invited to come over and play a while. A number of pretty and useful gifts were given as farewell tokens of friendship.

Those present were: Dorothy, William and Charley White; Margaret, Louise and Winnie Hoblitzell; Mary Ester and Velma Loucks; Jennie and Ida Beth Newlon; Richard and Lois Barrett; Virginia Miller; Geraldine Stevens, Geraldine Strickler; Byron Linville; Naomi Morehead; Evelyn Stewart; Ward Olson; Paul Shell; Dean Weddle; Georgia May Ashbrook; Katherine Gray; Virginia Morgan; Anna Lee Money; Eleanor Montgomery; Irma Geyer; Evelyn Monk; Eunice Horn; Marie Barrett; Mrs. Mervyn Gray; Mrs. David White; Mrs. L. N. Torrey and hostess.
