The Farmers State Bank at Rea was held up and robbed about 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, by four men who escaped in a Cadillac car with yellow wheels. The cashier of the bank succeeded in locking the vault, and it is reported that only about $500 was obtained. This bank was entered about two months ago, and the deposit boxes taken, but they were later found in a ditch near Savannah, and the loss was said to have been practically nothing.

Numerous reports as to the whereabouts of the robbers were received here Tuesday afternoon, and someone is said to have seen them near the “four mile corner” east of Skidmore. Nothing has been heard since Tuesday.
