Old Pioneer Dead
George M. Malvern of Quitman is Victim.
More Than Seventy Years Old He Passes Away At Home Of Son in Sterling, Oklahoma, Sunday Morning: Burial at Quitman, Mo.

George M. Malvern, seventy years old and more than forty years a resident of Nodaway county and the vicinity of Quitman, died at Sterling, Oklahoma, Sunday, November 1.

The remains will be brought to Quitman and interred Tuesday. Mr. Malvern is survived by the following children: James D. Malvern of Quitman, Briscoe Malvern, a resident of South Dakota; Mrs. Mollie Lamar of near Burlington Junction, Edward Malvern of Oklahoma City, Okla., and George M. Malvern, Jr., of Sterling, Okla., where Mr. Malvern Died. His wife, who was Miss Mary Warren prior to her marriage to Mr. Malvern, was a member of a pioneer west county family. — The Maryville Daily Tribune.
