Lee Smock’s 30th Birthday

Surprise.
A very delightful surprise dinner party was held Sunday, July 11th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smock in honor of Mr. Smock’s 30th birthday which occurred on Saturday.

At an early hour the guests began to arrive and Mr. Smock was thoroughly surprised. About 30 relatives and friends sat down at noon to a most delicious dinner, and later in the evening ice cream and cake were served. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cottrell and Mrs. Kate Cottrell, Mrs. D. B. Linville and family of Skidmore, Mr. and Mrs. John Lowrance and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lowrance, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lowrance, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lowrance, Misses Florence and Lura Gaddy, Mamie Nowland, Mr. and Mrs. James Lowrance and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kyle and family, Mr. George Smock and daughter, Reed of Rockport, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shull and family, Mr. and Mrs. T. Hacklin and family, Mr. Carl Early of Waverly, Kansas, and the host and hostess and daughter, Eva Lee.
