Harold Hill’s Seventh Birthday

From the Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), May 19, 1921, page 1:

Birthday Party.
Tuesday, May 10th, was Harold Hill’s seventh birthday and his mother planned a party for him, but on account of rain it was postponed until Monday afternoon, May 16th, after school. Various games were played and Harold was recipient of several presents.

Refreshments consisting of home-made candy and doughnuts were served and all departed for their homes wishing for Harold many more happy birthdays.

Those present were Lucile Crenshaw, Genie Dale Logan, Dale Bodle, Audrey McCoy, Harold Hill, Maxine Stevens, Charley White, Maxine Shell, Don Weddle, Pauline Cook, Roland Bodle, Velma Loucks, Lois Barrett, Leona Newton, Richard King, Dean Weddle, William Hill, Douglas Hill, Lois Northup.

Mrs. J. W. Weddle Jr. assisted Mrs. Hill in entertaining.
