Fred Kellogg Jr. Graduates, 1908.

Congratulations to Fred, and to all this year’s graduates! From the June 11, 1908 Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Fred Kellogg Jr. Graduates.
Four years ago, G. Fred Kellogg of this city entered the School fo Mines, located at Rolla, this state. At the time he entered the school there were seventy-two in the class, but at the time of graduation this week only twenty remained. Of the twenty, Mr. Kellogg was one of seven who completed the course of study in four years, the remaining thirteen requiring five years to finish the same work.

Fred is one year younger than any of the other members of his class. His record is certainly a splendid one and shows plainly that he did not idle away his time, but spent it in hard study that he might prepare himself well for the vocation he has chosen.

His father, J. F. Kellogg, went to Rolla, Monday, to witness the graduating exercises which were held Wednesday morning.
