F. H. Barrett Entertains, 1917

Entertained Class
The young men’s class of the M. E. Sunday school was entertained by its teacher, F. H. Barrett, at the Barrett home last Thursday evening.

A two course supper consisting of sandwiches, nabiscos and cocoa, and fruit salad and cake were served to eleven young men, Lannie Reese, Elzy King, Merle Hammond, Clarence Puett, Oto Riley, Everett Linville, Earl Peoples, dean Goslee, Vern Curnutt, Erman Miller, Harry Barrett who sat at the table with their host. Mrs. Oto Riley and Mrs. Everett Linville also enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Barrett.

After the refreshments had been served the class held a business meeting at which its organization was perfected by the election of G. Oto Riley, president; Dean Goslee, vice-president; Erman Miller, secretary and Merle Hamond, treasurer. The various committees were also appointed and the class is now prepared for effective work.
