Earl Jordan and Rollo Howden Build, 1921

From the April 21, 1921 Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Earl Jordan has bought a building which was originally intended for a barn, but never used as such, from J. W. Rodman, and has moved it to a location just west of his parents’ home where he is remodeling it for a dwelling. There will be four rooms on the lower floor, and two rooms and bath upstairs.

Work was started several days ago on Rollo Howden’s new residence in the new addition. The basement has been excavated and the foundation was completed yesterday. The carpenters have not started to work yet.
