All the Mod Cons, 1903

From the Skidmore Standard (Skidmore, Missouri), June 26, 1903, page 1:

A Modern Convenience.
T. E. Haynes and J. D. Montgomery have an ideal water works system in their residences. Mr. Haynes has a wind mill with a large tank and water is forced through his house and he also has hydrants for watering his lawn. Mr. Montgomery who lives almost a block away, has put in pipes, running his water supply from Mr. Haynes’. This system gives entire satisfaction, indeed the water has such a force that a person would imagine they were using water from a city main. The expense of this arrangement was comparatively nothing, when you take into consideration the amount the value of the property is increased.
