Weddle birthday, 1922

From the November 9, 1922 Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Birthday Supper
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Weddle, Sr., were surprised Tuesday evening when their children came walking in with their baskets filled with good things to eat. The occasion being the 67th birthday of Mr. Weddle, and he says he feels as young as any of the children.

Mr. Weddle says that he cast his first vote on his birthday, 46 years ago, and was not permitted to vote until in the afternoon because he was not twenty-one until that time.

The children present at the supper were: Clyde Stevens and family, J. W. Weddle, Jr. and family, Chance Littler and family, Alfred Logan and family.
