The Soldier Boys
Several of the soldiers of Co. B, 4th Regiment came home, Sunday. They left Camp Meade, Pa. Sunday evening. They are off for a 30 days furlough, and their company may yet see service.
The boys do not seem to think their treatment of the sick or well soldiers is as good as it should be, and the report of poor food and sometimes almost no food have not been exaggerated. In conversation with Corporal Bond of Mound City he said he thought most of the boys had got all the soldier life they wanted.
