From the August 10, 1900 Skidmore Standard, page 8:

At the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Wm. Totten, about 3 1/2 miles southwest of Skidmore, on Wednesday, August 8, 1900, at 5 o’clock p.m., in the presence of about 30 invited relatives and friends, Mr. W. A. Stoff and Miss Ida Totten were united in the holy bonds of matrimony.

After the ceremony the guests were invited to the dining room and seated around the table bountifully spread with the luxuries of life and for 30 or 40 minutes engaged in the enjoyment of real pleasure.

The matrimonial rite was performed by D. W. Conner, pastor of the Christian church.
