Spot Cash Store remodels, 1901

Remodeling would cause one to throw one’s entire stock of furnishings and notions on the market, wouldn’t it?  From the August 2, 1901 Skidmore Standard, page 5 (click to enlarge):

The Spot Cash Store's Remodeling Sale! Our entire stock of dry goods, shoes furnishings and notions thrown on the market at Skidmore, Mo. On account of our increase in business we are obliged to remodel our present quarters to make room for our fall stock, and we will sell at wholesale prices and less, rather than remove our stock to another building to make room for the carpenters.
