Small Cyclone, 1922

From the October 12, 1922 Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

A Small Cyclone.
Last Friday afternoon, the wind blew so hard that it twisted the frame of the new house being built on Roe Carpenter’s place northwest of town out of line from six inches to several feet.
The Logan Bros. and five others have been working out there for some time and had the second story frame up and some of it was boxed. The wind came up very suddenly and broke several of the braces loose. If the house had moved a few inches farther there would probably have been nothing left but a pile of kindling. It took the carpenters a good half day to square the building and get it back in line.
