Dear Santa Claus:
I will write you a few lines this evening and tell you what I want for Christmas. Will you please bring me a book, a doll, a pair of skates, and a little trunk like the one you brought me last Christmas. If you haven’t all these things, send me part of them.
Your friend,
Nellie Tracy.

Dear Santa Claus:
How are you with your toys? I suppose you have lots of toys made. Christmas is nearly here. I suppose I will get something for Christmas. I want a Bible, a coat, new shoes and stockings, a doll and cradle. I hope every one gets something. Be sure and don’t get yourself black when you come down the chimney.
Your friend,
Minnie Conrad.

Dear Santa Claus:
It is so near Christmas I thought I would write and tell you what I would like to have. I want a ring, doll and story book. I wish you would please bring my sister and brother something. I am ten years old and in the fourth grade. I hope you won’t get sick or hurt so you can’t come.
Your friend,
Bessie Mitchell.

Dear Old Santa:
As it is so near Xmas I thought I would write a letter and tell you what I want. Will you please bring me a heavy oval ring, size four. Please remember my little brother and sister. Sister wants a doll cart, and brother wants a train. Be sure old Santa to bring lots of candy and nuts, for there are lots of boys and girls in this town, and be sure to be at the Christian Church Xmas eve.
Your little friend,
Gladys Holt.
