Rebekahs Assemble, 1922

From the Skidmore News, December 14, 1922, page 1:

Attend Rebekah Assembly.
At the meeting of the 2nd District of the Rebekah lodge at Mound City Monday the Skidmore lodge conferred the degrees on three candidates.

The district officers elected were: Mrs. Livengood of Clearmont, president; Miss Florence Jordan of Skidmore, vice president; Mrs. Saphrona Shell of Wilcox, warden; Ivis Snoderly of Elmo, secretary; Miss Fannie Gageby of Mound City, treasurer.

The appointed officers were: Mrs. McGrew of Graham, conductor; Mrs. Wood of Mound City, marshall; Mrs. Belle Kuntzman of Skidmore, chaplain; Mrs. Nora Lowrance of Skidmore, inside guardian; Mrs. Ida Duncan of Wilcox, outside guardian.

Those from Skidmore who attended the meeting were:
Mrs. Carrie Masters, Mrs. Minnie Beverlin, Mrs. Ollie Devers, Miss Olive Early, Miss Florence Jordan, Mrs. Cora Owens, Mrs. Mary Dawson, Miss Minnie Conrad, Mrs. Laura Strickler, Mrs. Laura Cook, Mrs. Lottie Hitchcock, Mrs. Myrtle Bagby, Mrs. Belle Kuntzman, Mrs. Lena Newton, Mrs. Cordelia Bodle, Miss Mary Hughes, Mrs. Nora Lowrance, Mrs. Lena Jordan, Mrs. Hattie Patterson, Mrs. Cora Shell, L. D. Jordan, Link Hitchcock and Frank Weston of Mound City, but also a member of the Skidmore Rebekah lodge.
