Quit Your Meanness

Some sage advice from an exchange, by way of the April 24, 1903 Skidmore Standard:

We notice one of the most learned physicians in the world says that harboring envy in your heart against your neighbor is sure to bring disease to your body.  He says no human being can enjoy good health when he harbors a spirit of envy and hatred against his fellow-man.  He says that this is a diseased state of mind and is sure to bring disease to the body.  The thought here presented may be worth one hundred years’ subscription to some of our readers if they will only heed the warning of the most learned physician in the world. — Exchange.

If you desire to live to a good old age, quit your meanness.
