Post Office Moved

Improvements in Skidmore as reported in the June 6, 1905 edition:

Post Office Moved

The post office has been moved into the room, the second door east of the old location, lately purchased by T. L. Howden and the new room affords much better accommodations than did the old one.  The rural carriers now have ample room in which to do their work and are appreciative of the deference shown them by Postmaster Howden in securing this new location.  The lobby is sufficiently large to accommodate the throng that gather at the office after the morning and evening trains.  A new cabinet and new fixtures are all that is needed now to make this office as presentable as any office of its class in this part of the state.
