Picnic for the Pattons, 1921

From the July 14, 1921 Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Picnic Dinner for Pattons.

A number of relatives and friends met at the home of Joe Shull last Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. George Patton of Fowler, Idaho. At noon they went to the grove at Liberty school with well filled baskets, and enjoyed a picnic dinner.

The afternoon was enjoyably spent in meeting old friends and talking of old times, as Mr. and Mrs. Patton were formerly Nodaway county residents. Mrs. Patton taught for a number of years in and around Skidmore before going to Idaho.

There were 61 present.
