Picnic Dinner at Burr Oak.

A picnic dinner was held on the lawn of the Burr Oak church last Sunday, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott of Glazier, Texas, Miss Mildred Scott and C. F. Ward of Harmon, Okla. C. F. Ward is a brother of W. B. Ward of the Burr Oak neighborhood, and was a resident of this county a number of years ago.

In addition to the honor guests, the following were present:
Rev. D. G. MacDougall, pastor of the Burr Oak church, and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Ward, A. M. Long, Mrs. Mary Garnett, Ed Ruddell and family of Fairfax, C. H. Ruddell and family, C. W. Brown and family, W. E. Haynes and son, Ross Appleman and family, Charles Long and family, Frank Appleman and family, E. R. Ward and family, V. B. Ward and family, Elmer Smith and family of Fairfax, Pressley Burke and family of Westboro, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Garnett, Misses Mary Snuffer, Ophelia Ward, Lela and Hazel Long, and Mr. Will Long.
