Mr. Meeker’s New Job, 1922

From the September 7, 1922 Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Meeker of St. Joseph came Sunday to visit Mrs. Meeker’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Jordan and family. Mr. Meeker left for Omaha Monday, and Mrs. Meeker will spend several days with home folk. Mr. Meeker has quit the Sherman-Williams Paint Company, and is now traveling for the Congoleum Rug Company. They expect to move to Omaha Soon.
