Stevens-Peter.
Miss Meredith Stevens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Stevens, and Ralph Peter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Peter of east of town, were married Saturday evening in Maryville.Mrs. Peter is a graduate of the local high school, and after her graduation she worked for a time at the News office, and also for the telephone exchange. Later she went to Maryville, where she worked in the Hanamo telephone office. Mr. Peter is a farmer. They will make their home on a farm about 5 miles southwest of Maryville.
