Mary Saunders Greig Visits, 1920

From the Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), March 4, 1920, page 1:

Mrs. Mary Greig Here
Mrs. Mary Greig, of Kalispell, Montana, gave her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Saunders, a great surprise Tuesday morning, when she walked in on them. Mrs. Grieg was formerly Miss Mary Saunders and is well known in Skidmore. She had been with her husband, who is at present at the Mayo Bros.’ hospital at Rochester, Minn., recuperating from an operation, so she took advantage of being near home and came on to Skidmore for a few days visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Saunders immediately got busy at the telephone and in the afternoon, her sisters, Mrs. Gertie Kennish, Mrs. Cecil Claypool, of Mound City drove up and Mrs. Myrtle Ward, west of Skidmore came in, and they had very nearly a family reunion.

Mrs. Greig will remain here only a few days.
