Back from the West
It is quite interesting to look at the pictures and listen to the description by Howard Lyle, who has just returned home Monday, of the great work that has just been completed at Huntley, Wyoming, on the great irrigating system that is to furnish water for the tract of government land to be thrown open for settlement at an early date. Mr. Lyle has been in the employ of the contractors who had the work in hand and is in a position to give an accurate description of what has been done there.
A few days before the work was finished, Mr. Lyle through accident was dragged through a tunnel containing some sixteen inches of water, but aside from a thorough wetting and a bruised heel, is none the worse for the wear.
