Announcement Party
Mrs. H. M. Hoagland gave a party at her home last Tuesday evening, October 23, to announce the coming marriage of her daughter, Miss Beulah, to Mr. Roy Armstrong, of Calumet, Oklahoma.
The cat was let out of the bag by little Evelyn Monk and Mrs. G. O. Riley and around its neck was tied a string to which was fastened a card bearing the words “Mrs. H. M. Hoagland announces the marriage of her daughter, Beulah Jane, to Roy A. Armstrong.”
A royal good time was had by all and refreshments were served to the following: Mrs. H. N. McDaniel, Mrs. Susan Miller, Mrs. Jennie Zook, Mrs. Susan Hendrix, Mrs. Bert Shaw, Mrs. G. O. Riley, Misses Tena and Jessie McClain, Ollie and Lelah Earley, Dorothy Zook, Marguerite Shaw, Zula Horn and Evelyn Monk.
At a late hour the guests departed wishing Miss Beulah much happiness in her future married life.
