Happy Mr. Sewell

We think Mrs. Sewell must surely have been happy too.  From the July 15, 1915 Skidmore New Era, page 1:

One Happy Man in Skidmore.

Skidmore at present is full of men who are not happy.  But we are glad to report we know of one man here who is as happy as can be.  Tuesday afternoon, July 13, 1915, M. A. Sewell received a telegram from his wife and daughters who are at a sanitorium in Lincoln, Neb., stating that he was the father of an eight pound boy.

Mr. Sewell has had considerable bad luck this spring in the way of losing his crops, but now he is all smiles and is wishing the railroad track will be repaired as soon as possible so he can go out and get acquainted with his new son.  Mrs. Sewell and baby are getting along nicely.
