Endeavor Notes.
Nina McKnight was the leader at Christian Endeavor last Sunday night and the subject was “True Patriotism,” and the Endeavorers who were not there sure missed a treat, for it was one of the best meetings the Endeavor has had.

The first thing on the program was “America” sung by the audience and followed with a prayer by Rev. McClain. James Earley gave some very interesting facts about “Our Flag,” then the audience repeated the American Creed. A mixed quartet by Mrs. Mervyn Gray, Miss Mary Ashbrook, Prof. Pierce and Rev. McClain, sang “America the Beautiful.” Mr. Reynolds gave a talk about “politics” and if every politician would put into practice the policy he gave there would be more true patriotism throughout the world.

The general participation of the subject was indulged in and some very good talks were given including an especially good one by Prof. Pierce on “The Foes of True Patriotism,” and M. Gray on “Ways of Improving Our Country,” after which “The Star Spangled Banner” was sung. The program closed with the singing of “Faith of Our Fathers.” A “Go Get ’em Campaign” was organized with James Early and Clarence Smith as captains. Endeavorers who were not present, see the captains for information. Thirty-three showed patriotism by being present.

Next Sunday will be Rally Day at Endeavor and every member is urged to be present and bring a new member, if possible. The meeting will be led by Mrs. Pierce and the subject is “Worship and Reverence.”
