Centenary Items.
Marie Yeager spent Sunday with Zenith Eldora Nichols.Mr. and Mrs. Sam McGinness are the parents of a 10-pound girl, born Sunday, April 24.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Slauson and daughter, Bessie Lee, visited Sunday with Mrs. Slauson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Shull. Mr. Shull is quite poorly at this writing.
Charles Nichols visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. John McDonald.
Guests of Mr. Wm. Reed and children Sunday were Maxine and Leland Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Rae Linville.Mr. and Mrs. Howl Money entertained at dinner Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Reed and son, Billy; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith and daughters, Neva Clo and Barberce, George Wood, Nellie, Hattie, Minnie, John and Floyd Money.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnston and Ruth Puett visited with Mr. Johnston’s mother at Quitman, Sunday.
Mrs. Billy Allison, Mrs. Ed Shark, Mrs. Charley Donahue and Mrs. Chas. Nichols and Mrs. Jennings Reed called on Mrs. Sam McGinness Monday afternoon. Mrs. McGinness and baby are getting along fine.
Mr. and Mrs. Ora Keever entertained Sunday in honor of their son’s, Blaine, seventh birthday. Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Keever and son, Roy, of Maryville, Mr. and Mrs. George Masters, Miss Lucile Masters, Mrs. Helen Stranch and sons, were present.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Dawson visited with Floyd Dawson and family Sunday.
Roy Slauson and family spent Sunday evening at the home of C. W. Nichols.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Freeze and children, of Maryville, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sportsman Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Oswald, of near Rock Port, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hartman and children Sunday.
