Burr Oak Ladies’ Aid – All in a Day’s Work

The highly productive Burr Oak Ladies’ Aid group met again in March, as we see in the March 24, 1921 edition of the Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

Burr Oak Ladies’ Aid.
The Burr Oak Ladies’ Aid met in an all day session last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Fred Haynes. The finishing of 25 garments was a part of the day’s work.

Those present were: Mrs. Ralph Appleman, Mrs. Frank Appleman, Mrs. Will Villers, Mrs. Jesse McDonald and daughter, Mrs. C. H. Sauceman and children, Mrs. Chas. Reese, Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Vol Coston, Mrs. Frank Coston, Mrs. John Barber and children, Mrs. Lucy Ward, Mrs. George McDaniel, Mrs. Kauntzman, Mrs. Charley Long, Mrs. Bertha Barrett, Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs. Clauser, Mrs. Stovall and Mrs. Dale Coston.
