Basket Dinner for Ester Rockhold Martin, 1921

Basket Dinner.

Mrs. Ester Martin was honor guest of a basket dinner at her home near Centenary Church last Sunday when Sunday School and church members took well filled baskets and arrived at noon, which was not a surprise, but all wanted to be with her for the day. Her age has kept her at home for some time. She is the oldest member of Centenary church. She will be 75 years old the 26th day of December. Everyone enjoyed the day and Mrs. Martin said it reminded her of several years ago when she was young.

Nichols; Maxine, Eldora, and Francis Lee Nichols; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Walton; Miss Laura McDonald; Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Straub and son Jr.; Mr. and Mrs. Ora Keever and sons Blaine and Vernon; Hazel Anderson; Emma Wilson; Vernie Reed; Mrs. Martin; Tom Martin; Anderson Sharp.
