Basket Dinner at Palestine.
The basket dinner at the Palestine Church which followed the morning preaching services last Sunday, was well attended. Rev. Hagee of the Skidmore Christian Church preached and Rev. McClain had charge of the singing.
A truck load and five private cars loaded with Skidmore people attended the services and needless to say that they did their share when the dinner was spread upon four long tables on the church lawn.
The Willing Workers class, with their teacher, L. D. Jordan, attended the Sunday School at Palestine in a body and the rest from Skidmore went down after the Sunday School hour in town.
