Armistice Day Program, 1921

From the Skidmore News (Skidmore, Missouri), November 10, 1921:

To Give Armistice Day Program Tomorrow
Ladies of M. E. Church Will Serve Dinner — Program to Begin at Two O’Clock.

An Armistice Day program has been arranged, and will be given at the M. E. church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock.

The Ladies’ Aid of the M. E. church will serve dinner at noon, in the basement of the church. All ex-servicemen are invited to attend, in uniform, and will be served free. A charge of 35 cents per plate will be made to others.

Beginning at 2 o’clock, the following program will be given:
Music — Orchestra.
Song — America — Congregation.
Prayer — Rev. Hugh McClellan.
Reading — History of the Flag — Miss Olive Stevenson.
Music — To Be Arranged.
Remarks — Capt. J. E. Pierpoint.
Allies — Eight Girls.
Reading (selected) — Ellenor Sewell.
Address — Rev. D. F. Harrison.
Song — Star Spangled Banner — Congregation.
Music — Orchestra.
Benediction — Rev. G. W. Trotter.

Ad reads, "Annual Dinner and Bazaar. The Annual Dinner and Bazaar, given by the Ladies of the M. E. Church, will be held in the basement of the church Friday, Nov. 11. Price 35 cents. All ex-service men will be served free."
