To Give Armistice Day Program Tomorrow
Ladies of M. E. Church Will Serve Dinner — Program to Begin at Two O’Clock.An Armistice Day program has been arranged, and will be given at the M. E. church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock.
The Ladies’ Aid of the M. E. church will serve dinner at noon, in the basement of the church. All ex-servicemen are invited to attend, in uniform, and will be served free. A charge of 35 cents per plate will be made to others.
Beginning at 2 o’clock, the following program will be given:
Music — Orchestra.
Song — America — Congregation.
Prayer — Rev. Hugh McClellan.
Reading — History of the Flag — Miss Olive Stevenson.
Music — To Be Arranged.
Remarks — Capt. J. E. Pierpoint.
Allies — Eight Girls.
Reading (selected) — Ellenor Sewell.
Address — Rev. D. F. Harrison.
Song — Star Spangled Banner — Congregation.
Music — Orchestra.
Benediction — Rev. G. W. Trotter.
